Shielded transactions

A payment can exist without being exhibited.

An ordinary bitcoin-style transaction exposes the sender address, the recipient address, and the transaction amount. A shielded Ycash payment is documented as concealing those three facts.

  • Does not expose the recipient address to anyone
  • Does not expose the amount to anyone
